片桐はいりさんが演じるのは、第１話のキーパーソンでもある、興雲大学の教授・松本オリビア由美子です。名前も聞いただけでも、笑ってしまうのは私だけでしょうか！？
専門は社会心理学で、同じく興雲大学法医学教室の主任教授・夏目茶子（なつめ・ちゃこ／山口智子）と少なからず親交があります。
