1931年（22才）：デビュー曲「福島行進曲」「福島夜曲（セレナーテ゛）」発売。
以降、早大応援歌「紺碧の空」、ヒット曲「船頭可愛や」 、阪神タイガースの応援歌「大阪タイガースの歌」(通称：六甲おろし)、読売ジャイアンツの応援歌「巨人軍の歌（闘魂こめて）」、「中日ドラゴンズの歌」、東京五輪のオリンピックマーチなど、数多くの応援歌、行進曲の作曲を手がけた。
