ひょんなことから、壊れた地球儀を直してくれたのが真人（林遣都さん）だと知った桃子（有村架純さん）。
性格はまるで違うものの、どこか価値観が似ている真人に恋心を抱くようになった桃子は、家でも終始上機嫌なんです。
もはや恋をしていることは一目瞭然で、和輝（髙橋海人さん）たち３人の弟は、そんな姉の姿を心配そうに見つめるんですね。

一方の真人は、桃子の予算案が承認され、クリスマスプロジェクトが無事に動き出したことにうれしさがこみ上げる。
ホームセンター一丸となっての仕事に楽しさを感じ始めた真人は、何とかこのプロジェクトを成功させたいと、上司の悟志（藤木直人さん）にも協力を依頼する。

そんなある日、安達家では、桃子の親友のみゆき（奈緒さん）と親戚の川上（光石研さん）を呼んで鍋パーティーをすることに。
ところが当日、みんなが桃子の帰りを待ちわびるなか、桃子は仕事で思わぬミスをしてしまい、急きょ、商品をお客様の自宅まで届けることに。
その場に居合わせた真人が桃子を車で送っていくが、助手席の桃子の手はなぜか震えていて……。
