光秀（長谷川博己）が仕向けた今川から元康（風間俊介）を離反させる工作は失敗に終わり、元康率いる三河勢は織田方に包囲された尾張の大高城に向かう。その頃、義元（片岡愛之助）の大軍は三河・岡崎城から尾張の沓掛城まで進軍していた。一方、信長（染谷将太）は今川がうわさされているような2万もの大軍であるのかと疑念を抱き、前線へ出陣を決める。信長は局地戦を展開して義元率いる本隊を孤立させる作戦を決行。そして暴風雨の中、義元の本隊は桶狭間で立ち往生を余儀なくされ、そこに織田の軍勢が襲い掛かる・・・っと言った話でした。
